Skipper and centre half Kev started his second spell at Darlington during the summer of 2015 after signing from Whitby Town.

He started his first spell in 2006 after joining from Middlesbrough, and played in the youth team under current Darlington manager Martin Gray.

He made one senior appearance in the Football League before being loaned out to Whitby, who signed him on a permanent basis in 2008. He made 240 appearances for the Seasiders, scoring 12 goals.

He was handed the captaincy when he signed for Quakers, and scored on his home debut against Frickley. He went on to forge a strong partnership with Gary Brown in the centre of defence, and at the other end scored eleven goals, his highest ever in a season.

He missed the end of the 2016-17 season because of injury, which prevented him from adding to his 28 appearances in the season.
