We picked up a huge 3-2 victory at Leamington on Saturday which moved us up two places to 17th in the table. Stephen Thompson scored all our goals including the winner in stoppage time.

Salford’s lead at the top of the table was cut to five points after they lost 2-1 at third place Brackley. Aaron Williams and Alex Gudger put Brackley 2-0 ahead after just seventeen minutes. Jake Beesley pulled one back for Salford in injury time at the end of the game, but it was too late as the Ammies suffered their second defeat of the season away from home.

Harrogate Town took full advantage winning by the same 2-1 score line at home to Telford. Joe Leesley and Simon Ainge scored the goals either side of half time for Harrogate. Jordan Murphy scored late on for Telford, but other results meant they slipped to second bottom in the table.

Local rivals Spennymoor continued their fantastic form with a 1-0 win over Tamworth that keeps them fourth. Glen Taylor scored the only goal of the game for the Brewers mid-way through the first half.

Kidderminster moved up to fifth with a comfortable 3-0 win over Southport who are now only four points ahead of the bottom three. All the goals came in an eleven minute spell thanks to Emmanuel Sonupe, Fraser Horsfall and Joe Ironside.

Stockport County gave their playoff hopes a boost over with victory over sixth place York City. Darren Stephenson and Matthew Warburton’s strikes mean Stockport are now three points outside the top seven.

Blyth Spartan’s recent poor form continued, as they lost 2-1 at a Boston United team rapidly climbing the table. Ashley Hemmings gave the Pilgrims the lead from the spot, before Daniel Maguire looked to have earned a point for Blyth 13 minutes from time. However, Kabongo Tshimanga scored with just six minutes left to earn all the points for Boston.

Bradford Park Avenue are three points off the playoffs after being held to a 0-0 draw at Nuneaton.  The point left the hosts 18th in the league table two points off the relegation zone.

Chorley’s playoff hopes suffered a setback, as they were held by bottom of the table North Ferriby. The visitors who are stranded and face relegation took the lead through Brett Agnew. Jason Walker and Joshua O’Keefe turned the game in Chorley’s favour. However, Jordan Harrison made it 2-2 for North Ferriby who picked up their first point in eight games.

FC United of Manchester’s recent form continued, as they beat Curzon Ashton. Seven Irwin and Connor Mccarthy scored the goals in a 2-0 win for FC United. Defeat leaves the Nash just one place above the drop zone.

In a huge match at the bottom Gainsborough Trinity scored late on to beat Alfreton 2-1. Nathan Jarman gave Trinity the lead before half time with David Shiels levelling for Alfreton on the hour mark. However, Craig King won the game for Gainsborough with eleven minutes left. They remain in the bottom three, but moved up a place ahead of Telford.
