Only two games survived the weather on Saturday, with none of the teams below us in the league in action so we remain in 16th place in the table.

Playoff chasing Stockport County and Spennymoor Town played out a five goal thriller. Glen Taylor converted the penalty that he had won to give the visitors the lead. However, before half-time, Jason Oswell scored a spot kick of his own for County to level. He then scored his second after the break, but just two minutes later former Quaker Rob Ramshaw levelled the match up for Spennymoor. It was Oswell though who had the final say as he completed his hat-trick to earn Stockport the 3-2 win.

In the other game, FC United of Manchester continued their good home form, by earning a point against second placed Brackley Town. Jimmy Armson gave Brackley the lead early in the second half, but Steve Irwin scored a late penalty to earn FC United a point.
