 Admission Prices

 In order to contribute to the ongoing progression of the Club, the Board of Directors in consultation with Darlington Football Club Supporters Group (DFCSG) have agreed the following match-day admission prices;

TypePriceConditions (proof of concession rate entitlement may be requested on entry)
Adult£14
Adult Concession£10Over 62 as at 1 September 2016

Full time student (student card required)

Registered disabled persons

Armed Forces Personnel

Child Concession (Under 16)£5Aged 5-15
Under 5’sFREEAged <5

A benchmarking exercise has been carried out against other clubs at our level and our carefully considered pricing puts us within the same bracket as those clubs with which the fans will expect us to compete in the coming season. As was revealed at the recent fans forum the Club made a significant loss last season and in order to provide a similarly competitive budget additional revenue must be generated.

Whilst the Boost the Budget initiative has been positive in terms of the overall revenue and will go some way to allowing a competitive playing budget for the coming season, the fact that it has been supported by less than 10% of our average attendance means that we’ve also reluctantly had to raise admission prices further than we’d have liked. Boost the Budget is ideal in that the donations are not subject to VAT unlike gate receipts and a commitment of as little as 50p per week would have raised £25 per person over the course of the season.

Club Director John Tempest explains the rationale of this season’s pricing and said; “Once again the club is committed to balancing value for money with the need to remaining competitive on and securing the future of the club off the field. We are committed to supporting our manager, Martin Gray, in the National League North where we will be competing against some well-known and well-funded full time clubs.”

DFCSG Chairperson Wayne Raper added, “In line with our Community Club ethos, and to encourage families to attend, we are excited to launch a range of Family Season Tickets that provide a saving compared to the standard season ticket pricing. We’ve also committed to welcoming the next generation of fans by continuing to provide free admission to children under 5 and our pricing for Under 16 season tickets delivers a large saving on pay on the day. We’ve seen an uplift in the number of young fans since the move to Blackwell Meadows and we hope the chosen pricing structure will allow this to continue.”
