The official Darlington FC website yesterday passed 600,000 hits since its launch in March, a fantastic achievement in such a short space of time.

The website has averaged at least 2,000 hits per day since March – on some occasions reaching 10,000 hits – and is visited by Darlington fans all over the world. At the last count, there were visits from 160 countries in the world, which only goes to show how much worldwide interest and support exists for the Quakers!

Chief executive officer Dave Mills said; “It is a magnificent achievement by our website, which has become the recognised first port of call for official Darlington news. There is a great variety and quality of articles, covering all sorts of topics. We are grateful to the website team, and I am looking forward to the improvements that I know they are planning. We are also grateful to our friends from Geonet, who have designed a very good website for us.”

The most popular posts are the video highlights from Kevin Luff, while there was also recent high interest in the Netcafe with Dave Mills, and Gary Brown’s return to the club.

There is also great interest in our breaking news, match coverage, player interviews, and retail activities. Darlington Youth FC has also significantly increased our traffic on Sunday nights and Monday mornings.
