Under 8 Quakers go nap in the Cup

This was the game of the season so far. The high-intensity game brought a fast and exciting feel to the match between both teams, the first half of the cup game left everyone on their toes due to the speed and intensity of the game. Never in doubt, our opponents were a good team who tested our keeper Benjamin Williams who got managers man of the match he played like David de Gea quoted by a parent during the game with his superb saves. The game was 0-0 at halftime with both teams playing good football.

4 minutes into the second half and Miller Shield opened the scoring with the first goal of the game, Darlington were on the front foot with all the momentum after scoring the first goal.

Darlington created a lot of chances with Travis Harrison playing brilliantly down the wing with some great deliveries for our attacking players.

Jack Parry started and finished the game strong with some great skills and passing, Jack was awarded the away team man of the match.

Zac Reeve and Apo Bakan both played exceptional well with their tackles and passing in defence when under lots of pressure.

Alfie Glancey was back to his best scoring 2 great goals which brought out lots of confidence in himself he was playing with a smile again.

Miller Shield completed his hat trick with almost the last touch of the game.

Brilliant game to watch

Man of the match home - Ben Williams

Man of the match away - Jack Parry
