Match Day Parking at Blackwell Meadows

Firstly I would like to apologize for no lighting in the car park after the game this was due to a technical hitch which is being looked into.

I would like to remind all our fans that car park stewards are volunteers and we will not tolerate any verbal abuse of volunteers who are undertaking their role in a timely and safe manner. As part of the ground redevelopment works at Blackwell Meadows, a 250 space car park has been created and all DFC players, officials and fans are requested to use this car park. We have 32 places in the lower car park which is for Blue Badge holders and remaining officials the rest of the lower car park is for the use of DRFC so can everyone please assist the stewards in parking in the correct areas.

Fans coming to Blackwell Meadows and using the car parking facilities are reminded about protocols for use of the car park and the reasons for a short delay while egress is in operation following the end of a game.

The car park operates a one way system for the flow of traffic through the existing car park to the new car park and way out. Egress will be halted shortly before the final whistle. This is to allow foot traffic to safely exit the Blackwell Meadows site, while not coming into conflict with vehicle traffic. This takes between 8-12 minutes on an average attendance. Darlington FC apologises for any short delay on egress, but asks for your patience to help with the safe egress of all attending fans. Blue Badge holders likewise should also exit from their bays via the one way system through the main large car park.

Darlington FC apologises for any short delay on egress, but asks for your patience to help with the safe egress of all attending fans, there will be no car park movement allowed at all shortly before the final whistle to ensure safety of all attending fans egressing the main site.

Thank you for your help.
