Reserves look for first ever win over Richmond Town

The reserves are looking for their first ever win over Richmond in the Wearside League at Eastbourne on Saturday.

As Darlington Reserves and Horden, the reserves have failed to beat Richmond in recent years, and joint manager Mark Fanning said; “Every time we’ve played them, Richmond have come out on top, and we’re in the mood to put that right on Saturday.”

Richie Parral, Derek Wade and Reece Greenwood are all unavailable, but youngsters Jamie O’Brien and Brad Moncur will both return to the squad after playing for Durham County Youths last week.

There are two other new signings – Michael Weston who has come from Richmond and will therefore play against his old club, and Alex Clark, who has come from Coulby Newham.

If you’re not going to the Telford game, why not pop along to Eastbourne and cheer the lads on?
