Preview and stats pack for Saturday’s away game at AFC Telford United

Quakers are hoping to win a league game at Telford for the first time in 28 years when we go to the Buck’s Head on Saturday.

Telford has never been a really happy hunting ground in the league or FA Cup for Quakers. We've won there twice over the years, in the Conference winning season in 1989-90  and in our Trophy run in 2011 when we won 3-0.

Quakers go across to Shropshire in good heart, having lost just once in the last ten league matches, and lie 11th in the table. We also haven’t conceded a goal in our last three league matches. Saturday’s opponents are third bottom, and won 1-0 at Alfreton in midweek.

Keeper Aynsley Pears is expected to be back from Poland with the England Under 20s, as is Harvey Saunders after a trial with Barnsley during the week, and he could come in for David Syers, who is carrying a thigh injury.

Kick off on Saturday is 3 pm, updates on the game will be made from the club’s Facebook, Twitter and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio from about 2.45pm
