Striker David was one of several players to join the club from Durham City in the summer of 2012 when Quakers were relegated to the Northern League.

This is his second spell at the club, having played for Quakers on loan from Sunderland when Colin Todd was manager in season 2010-11, the season that Quakers were relegated from the Football League. He scored on his debut against Aldershot.

After being released by Sunderland he played for Gateshead and York City, before dropping down to Durham who were then in the EvoStik Premier Division.

David was a key member of the Northern League title win, in which he scored double figures.  He scored 17 goals in Quakers' first season in EvoStik First Division North, and seven more last season, including a memorable winner in the play offs against Spennymoor. Many people thought that his goal was the club's most dramatic for four years.

He has been suffering from injury this season, and his appearances have been curtailed.
