There can be no 0-0 draw in Darlington’s history that has been celebrated so ecstatically as the one at Gateshead in 2011 which saw us reach the FA Trophy final.

Tomorrow it’ll be six years since we were at the International Stadium for the second leg of the semi-finals, a scoreless draw enough to earn a place at Wembley having beaten the Heed 3-2 at The Northern Echo Arena seven days earlier.

Liam Hatch scored two of the goals, and he is pictured celebrating after the final whistle at Gateshead with team-mates Aaron Brown, Ian Miller and Dan Burn.

In the dying seconds against Mansfield Town on May 7, it was Brown who took the throw that was headed on by Miller, then Tommy Wright and led to Chris Senior scoring THAT goal.
