Final decision on name change looming

The Board is delighted to report that the Membership Committee of the Football Association has now considered the application to change the club's playing name back to "Darlington", and has recommended to the FA Council that the name change should be approved, to be effective for the season 2017/18. The FA Council will now make the final decision on 3rd April 2017.

Club Director, Jonathan Jowett, said; "This is fantastic news for all of our supporters and I would like to thank the FA Membership Committee for its recommendation. I'm sure every Darlo fan will be keeping their fingers crossed for the decision on 3rd April".
