On Sunday afternoon midfielder Joe Wheatley came on as a substitute to make his first appearance for the England C team as the side lost 4-2 to Republic of Ireland.
The side made up of non-league players took on Ireland in Dublin with Wheatley coming on in the 76th minute.
Wheatley had spent the two days prior to the game training with the side managed by Paul Fairclough.
Alongside teammates Josh Heaton and Luke Trotman, Wheatley will attend the Jamie Vardy V9 Academy next week at Manchester City's training complex.
