Liam signed for Quakers in February last season. His first goal for the club was a memorable winner against Salford City at Heritage Park. The forward scored two more times the previous campaign as Quakers won promotion to the Vanarama National League North.

The 29 year old scored seven times in Darlington’s opening 15 league games this season on his way to notching 9 goals in total. In January Liam re-joined his former club Buxton on a month’s loan as the Buck’s pushed for a play-off place in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.

Liam returned to Darlington briefly and scored his final goal for the club in the recent home match against Harrogate Town.

Everyone at Darlington FC would like to wish Liam the very best of luck in his return to Buxton.
