Darlington Under 8s continued their run of form in the league against Bowburn.

A much thinner match day squad due to illness, showed the great amount of class they have and are able to offer to the game.

The game saw them play a spirited and hard working Bowburn side in which the Quakers came out firing from the start. The lead was quickly taken through Charlie Cole when his left foot shot beat the Bowburn keeper.

Jay Bradley and Harry Lambert got in amongst the goals both scoring hat tricks, and a couple of assists each as well.

Charlie Cole had a very impressive game with in the centre of the field, playing his part in the majority of the goals and chances -- a very strong performance from the attacking midfielder.

Another good performance came from defender Ewan Irvine, who won a lot of tackles in the game. Also the young defender enjoyed a goal, scoring a free kick from inside his own half.

Man of the match went to keeper Zach Judson, who had a very good game. He was solid from start to finish, looking very confident throughout.
