Come and see Chris Waddle in the big MarathonBet #NonLeagueChallenge Legends game!

Former Newcastle, Spurs and England striker Chris Waddle is one of the big names who will be appearing for the MarathonBet #NonLeagueChallenge Legends on Sunday 29th July.

Chris started his football career here in the north east, playing for Northern League club Tow Law, before his talent took him to Newcastle United, Spurs, Marseille and Sheffield Wednesday, as well as 62 England caps, including the 1986 and 1990 World Cups and the 1988 European Championships. He played in the 1990 World Cup semi final against West Germany!

He is still involved in the game now as a pundit on BBC Radio Five Live, and is working at the current World Cup.

The MarathonBet #NonLeagueChallenge Legends will play against the regular Darlington team in the first half, and the Darlo Legends team in the second half.
