Darlington FC would like to announce our pre-season friendly schedule.

We begin our pre season programme on Sunday 8th July with a home game against Scottish Premier League side Motherwell, who have promised to send their first team squad, which will include former Darlo players Curtis Main and Ryan Bowman. Motherwell reached the Scottish Cup final last season,  but lost to Celtic. The kick off will be 2.00pm.

The following Wednesday, 11th July, Sunderland will be sending their 1st team to Blackwell Meadows, kick off 7.30pm.

Quakers then set off for Europe with the game at Eindhoven on Saturday 14th July! The kick off is 1.00pm. Eindhoven T shirts are available from Quaker Retail.

On Tuesday 17th July we go to EBAC Northern League club Shildon, kick off 7.30pm.

On Saturday 21st July we’re back at Blackwell Meadows again for a home game against a Middlesbrough XI, kick off 1pm

The following Wednesday, 25th July, we entertain a Leeds United X1, kick off 7.30pm

Then the Marathon Bet Legends game will take place on Sunday 29th July, kick off 2pm. Quakers will take on a Legends team, which comprises George Boateng, Richard Dunne, Chris Waddle, Joleon Lescott and managed by Sir Geoff Hurst.

We are also creating a Darlo Legends team to play in the second half of the game.

We finish our pre season friendly schedule with an away game at Northallerton on Tuesday 31st July.
