Nathan Cartman has been named man of the match by fans for the pre-season friendly with Newcastle United u23s. Over a 160 people voted in the first poll ran on the club's new purpose built voting platform, dfcpoll.co.uk.
The website will allow the Darlington faithful to have their say following each game as well as voting for things like player of the season and goal of the season towards the end of the campaign.
Man of the match polls will go live after each game and stay open for a few days to allow fans to cast their vote.
Keep an eye on the official website and the club’s social media accounts for the link to each vote, or alternatively visit www.dfcpoll.co.uk and you will be able to see a list of the currently active polls.
