All Stars U12s 4 v Darlington FC Youth U12s 4

Another entertaining game for the U12s that keeps the team unbeaten this season!!

Darlo started fast and were the better side and sthey cored with a volley by the energetic Chrissy Walters after 10 mins but then 3 quick and good goals in a 7 min spell put All Stars 3-1 up after 17 minutes.

The final 10 minutes of the first half saw All Stars playing the better football and pressing but couldn't get a goal before half time.

The second half saw Darlo press and create chances every couple of minutes but All Stars dug in deep to stop some good efforts.

With 15 minutes to go Darlo finally made it 3-2 with a great left foot shot from 20 yards from Josh Gibson that flew in the far corner and just as it looked like Darlo would kick on and get another, a long clearance went through every one for the All Stars striker to get on the end of it and shoot into the net to make it 4-2

Credit to Darlo though they kept pressing and playing some decent attacking football driven on by the hard working and good play from midfielder Jojo Crumpton.

Darlo made it 4-3 with 8 minutes left after a great run and shot by Benjy Keating and Darlo kept going and after the keeper made some good saves and also hit the post Darlo equalised with 3 minutes left as man of the match and ex All Stars player Oli Clark brought a cross down brilliantly on the turn and volleyed into the roof of the net to give Darlo a much deserved draw.
